“People are hungry, but they aren’t even sure what they are hungry for.”  That is our assumption as we design our Sunday morning worship services at Village Bible Church.  Sunday mornings are times of heartfelt worship and personal application from the Bible.  Blended worship music incorporates the great hymns of the faith along with the more personal praise choruses to help facilitate our worship.  Expository Bible teaching that “applies the Bible to daily life” describes the heart of the sermon each Sunday, so that you will be fed from God’s word.  Our desire is that you will leave the service not merely saying “I’ve been to church this morning” but truly “I’ve met with God and been renewed with His strength for the week ahead.” 

We offer two identical services, 8:00 AM and 10:45 AM.  Sunday School for all ages is at 9:30 AM, and coffee and fellowship time is from 10:20-10:45.  Childcare is offered for Sunday School and the second (10:45 AM) service.

The music selected for the Sunday morning worship services is a blend of the familiar hymns of our faith with contemporary, Southern gospel, and classical music. The musicians vary slightly each Sunday and include piano, organ, bass and acoustic guitars, flutes, keyboard and percussion. September through May, the choir helps lead the worship and is often joined by a praise team or soloists.  During the summer months the format varies - utilizing not only the choir, but also praise teams and large ensembles. Video presentations are interwoven with the music to help draw our thoughts and our attention to the Lord Jesus Christ and His involvement in our daily lives.

We desire for the worship music to prepare our hearts for the ministry of God's Word. The underlying goal of the worship music team is to sing not only words about God, but to sing praises to Him.
