Village Bible Church was responsible for GriefShare coming to Hot Springs Village in 2009.  The GriefShare seminar is a recovery/support group for those who have experienced the death of a loved one (parent, spouse, child, other family member or friend).

Videos are shown that feature grief experts and people who tell their own stories of healing from grief.  These videos are followed by small group sharing and discussion.  The only charge for the seminar is the cost of the workbook ($12.).  The workbook has short exercises to do during the week and other helpful information that encourage the participants in their journey from mourning to joy.

The group meets from 9-11 each Tuesday morning at the All Saints Anglican Church (across the street from VBC).  The fall 2010 seminar dates are August 17 – November 16 (except the day after Labor Day).

        On Sunday, November 7th, a special seminar, “Surviving  the Holidays,” will be held from 2-4 p.m. at All Saints Anglican Church.   All are welcome to come to this informative event whether or not they are already attending the fall GriefShare sessions.
